About Sean Dunn
The vision to Contend for the younger Generations began in God's heart before the foundations of the world, but it was imparted to Sean Dunn in his early teens. From fourteen, he had a strong confidence in his direction and calling. And, as opportunities arose, he was faithfully investing in younger lives as he himself was still growing up.
His ministry began early and after several years spent serving in local church settings, and a couple given to provide leadership for youth ministries in the Rocky Mountain region, the Lord began to birth the initial plans for Champion Ministries in his heart in 1995.
After months of seeking the Lord and laying the groundwork, the ministry was pioneered. In the early stages, Champion Ministries was primarily a convention ministry, partnering with different communities across this country. It has since morphed into a global ministry that is effectively working with dozens of denominations, hundreds of schools, colleges, and churches to bring a relevant voice to the young people everywhere.
Sean's burden is bigger than a specific church, an isolated community, or a 'type' of church. Rather, his passion is burning for a generation. With God's favor resting on him, he is not only delivering a message; he is becoming a voice to represent Christ to the emerging generation.
His reputation is growing as his speaking ministry is touching tens of thousands. As an author, and as the voice behind the Groundwire radio spots, which are getting airplay on both secular and Christian stations, Sean is boldly and creatively proclaiming the goodness and love of Christ to an untold number of people that God is passionate about.
